Whalen's Moving & Storage will work hard to help provide a Stress Free Move in the Grand Forks Area.  Whether you are moving one item or everything in your home, we understand that the task of moving can sometimes be overwhelming.  Whalen's Moving & Storage will make every effort to see that the antique furniture you've spent so much time looking for will arrive at its new home in exactly the same condition as when you found it. 

If you're moving across town or to a place close by, you can expect the same care from Whalen's Moving & Storage as you would give to your goods if you were doing it yourself.  Even better in some cases, because we have an experienced staff who know how to move your goods.  We do it everyday. 

We sweat the small stuff so you don't have to.

What Does It Cost?

Local moves are charged on an hourly basis and the rate will vary based on the number of men and trucks it will take to get your move accomplished in a safe and timely manner.  Fuel charges for longer distances and charges for packing supplies (boxes, paper, etc.) may also apply. 

To get an estimate call or stop by Whalen's Moving & Storage to discuss your move.  To assist you with an accurate estimate, please take a moment to consider the items from our checklist before calling.  If there is something you're not sure of, don't hesitate to ask. 

How Do I Know My Goods Are Safe?

Three generations of Whalens have been moving household goods since 1917.  Whalen's Moving & Storage trains employees from those many years of experience and utilizes various types of equipment, pads and loading techniques to help ensure the safety of your goods. 

It is our promise and the commitment of our staff to take the same care with your goods as we would with our own. 

All non-furniture items need to be packed in boxes.  Whalen's Moving & Storage can pack boxes for you, or you can do it yourself.  Contents of boxes are covered for breakage only if packed by the movers.  Liability on local moves is limited to $.60 per pound per item.
